Why can I only search about three tags on Paheal, and can ArchiveX get past that?
That roughly three-tag cap is a Shimmie2 restriction rule34.paheal.net puts on anonymous and free users, not something a Paheal downloader can override. ArchiveX does not evade it: it sends the same searches the site allows. In practice you work around the limit the legitimate way, by running several tighter searches (for example one narrower tag combo at a time) and letting ArchiveX de-duplicate by MD5 so overlapping results are not saved twice.
How is Paheal's Shimmie2 engine different from Gelbooru-family boorus, and does it matter for downloading?
